Bay Area HeroClix League

Last Wednesday night at Game Kastle the event was you must play 1 figure from a GSX Super Booster in a 800 points Modern Age game.  My team was:

GSX Apocalpse 500pts

CR Dr. Sivana 111pts

DC75 Saint Walker 95pts

BB Kid Zoom 87pts

In the first round I went up against a Onslaught with two SI Thing at a even 800.  His team was pretty good and I understand what he was doing with the double Thing.  The chance of taking a action token off of Onslaught every turn was a great idea.  The reason I won this match because I hitted majority of my Shape Change roll on Apocalypse and he choose the wrong map.  I started 1-0.  In the 2nd round I went up against a 100pts Frost Giant with a lot of other figures.  I don't remember the team but I took him out easily without anyone on my team getting knocked out.  In the final I played against a Asgardian Theme Team which had both male and female Loki.  This team was REALLY good because he had two TK and two Psychic Blast figure with 11 attack.  I think I made the mistake of not basing his team with Apocalpse on turn 2.  After a long night of HeroClix playing I went 2-1 and lost the final round.
