First read Draft Season 3: Drafting Primer as most of that applies to this season. The third section isn't as applicable since the format is a little different.

This time, I figured I'd make a top ten list for each set. Most of these will probably be assassinated or picked up in the first round or two. Of course, this is just my opinion and things can go down completely differently.

Captain America: In general, we have more perplex, stealth and poison. We only have a few big power characters.

1. Quasar - good tent pole with Power Cosmic TA and mid dial HSS.

2. Darkstar - TK and free smoke cloud. She also goes from TK to psi-blast making her a very useful piece.

3. Steve Rogers - There are only 3 characters that have a 12 attack in this season's pool, and this is the cheapest.

4. Quake - Can attack through walls and deals penetrating damage. It's all about her special power.

5. Klaw - Running shot and pulse wave. A powerful combo and good damage values.

6. Captain America #40 - High attack, running shot and charge with indom. The Caps are definitely good in this set.

7. Captain America #1 - Good attack and perplex. Always nice to have a solid attacker with perplex.

8. Maelstrom - Another tent pole with Power Cosmic TA, but he needs to take damage to get his full effect.

9. Dirk Anger - Cancels TAs, has perplex, and boosts characters with special powers. Solid utility piece.

10. Crimson Dynamo - Tentpole attacker with indom. Just a straight up attack piece, point and shoot.

Top Perplexers: Yelena, Dirk, Cap, SHIELD Agent

Top Outwitters: Scientist Supreme, Richard Fisk, Black Panther, SHIELD Specialist

Top Taxis: Doorman, Falcon, Darkstar, Kitty Pryde, Fixer

Top Poisoners: Eel, Scorpion, Cobra, Viper

Secret Invasion: Lots of powerful characters. Could have easily made a top 15 or 20 here.

1. Dr. Strange - Anti-stealth, perplex, high attack. No brainer here. He's a powerhouse on any team.

2. Ms. Marvel b - hss and stealth and outwit and indom. Another easy one to point out as she's been a skurge for a while now.

3. Namor - Charge and flurry. High attack matched with high damage and the ability to flury make Namor a huge threat.

4. Ms Marvel a - hss and indom. If not for Skrullvel she would be the go to hss figure in modern game.

5. Iron Fist - Flurry, willpower, wild card. Another high attacking flurry figure and good defenses to match.

6. Spider-Man - Flurry, leap/climb, wild card. Cheaper than Iron Fist and still deadly.

7. Hercules - Charge, flurry amd indom. Similar to Namor but a little more expensive.

8. Elektra a - Charge, flurry, stealth, indom. Definitely a pattern here, charge and flurry are a powerful combo.

9 Gee - TK. Cheapest TK in modern age and will definitely be useful.

10. Iron Man - Running shot, outwit and perplex. High attack and damage along with good support powers make him very formidable.
