Detailed

Draft Pools

For each set (not including Gravity Feeds); 3 of every common, 2 of every uncommon, 1 of every rare, and 5 total super rares.

Super Rares

Galactic Guardians: Mr. Fantastic, Thing, Cosmo, Gladiator, Stranger

Hammer of Thor: Ultron, Venus, Seth, Loki, Kurse

Assassination Round

All players will chose a single character slot to remove from the draft before the draft begins. (i.e. if you chose a common character all 3 will be removed from the draft). This will be done separately from the draft and will include all players.

Snake Draft

Players will draft characters in order of their position. After a full round, drafting is repeated but in reverse order of position. This process is repeated for 8 rounds. Example: player in position 1 drafts first in every odd round and last in every even round.

Second Set Draft

The snake draft is repeated for the second set, but players' positions are reversed (i.e. if you drafted first in the first set you draft last in the second set)

Trading

You may not trade for a character that you traded way. You may trade away 3 characters and receive 3 characters. You may not trade after you have played any player twice.

Build Restrictions

You may only use characters that you drafted. You may not use more of a character than you drafted (i.e. you draft a single Kryptonian Soldier you may not put two on a team). If there are special rules for switching characters out, alter-egoes for instance, then you must have drafted both characters to switch them out. It might be easier to think of your entire collection as only consisting of characters you drafted, that is the baseline for any questions that arise.

You may not use the same character against the same player in your second game with that player, even if you have multiples of a character.

Schedule

There may be a posted schedule to be used as a guide, but you are not forced to play by the listed schedule. You may play opponents in any order that you wish. It is highly recommended to play everyone once before playing them a second time

Playoffs

The top 3 teams will play in a playoffs.

2nd vs. 3rd with the winner playing the 1st place player for the championship.

Reporting

The winner of the game has 72 hours in which to report the score. The score must be reported on the forums as described in the reporting thread on the forums. Every 24 hours late will be a loss of 10 points, if more than a week late a loss will be recorded. Everyone will be allowed one late reporting which will be accounted for at the end of the season; the worst violation will be removed.

Proxies/Substitutes/Drops

There will be no proxy players. If a player must leave the league for whatever reason we will try to find a replacement as soon as possible.

Illegal Teams

It is the responsibility of both players to make sure that teams are legal before play. Please check your opponent's team before your game. You can make no appeals after the game has started. If the player of the illegal team loses, no extra penalties will occur for a first offense and the winner is capped at no more than 500 points. If the player with an illegal team wins they will be penalized in points by the amount equal to their overage for the first offense; any offense thereafter will be a loss and zero points.
